Privacy Policy

When you create a Woodside Wire account, we collect your email address, display name, and the neighborhood you share. If you add a profile photo, we store that image. When you post an event, a neighbor request, or a message, we store the content you submit.

If you apply for a business membership, we also collect your business name, category, and website so our team can review the application.

We use your information to:

• Run your account and show your profile to other neighbors
• Display the events, requests, and messages you post
• Review business membership applications
• Moderate reported content and keep the community safe

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

Your display name, neighborhood, and profile photo are visible to anyone browsing the site. Events and requests you post are public. Private messages are visible only to you and the member you're writing to.

Paid business memberships are processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number — payment details go directly to the payment processor over a secure connection.

You can update your display name, neighborhood, and photo at any time from your profile. To delete your account and the content attached to it, contact us at admin@woodsidewire.com.

Your data is stored on secure, hosted infrastructure with access limited to what's needed to run the site. We keep your information while your account is active and remove it when you delete your account, except where we're required to keep records (for example, payment receipts).

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Woodside Wire after a change means you accept the updated policy.
